PinkDrive NPC welcomes Bongumusa Makhathini as Chairperson
PinkDrive NPC takes pleasure in announcing the appointment of Mr. Bongumusa Makhathini as Chairperson of their Board of Directors. Bongumusa brings unique acumen and focus to PinkDrive and provides a wealth of experience and knowledge to the organisation; his position will fill a key advisory and mentorship role.
Bongumusa is a highly skilled, multi-talented and experienced Board Chairperson. His experience includes transformation, legal, corporate governance, corporate affairs as a Business Leader with 15 years strategic, operations and management experience leading and managing large business units, teams, departments, and companies in the private and SOE sectors. He currently holds the position as Chairman of the Board of Directors at SABC.

Bongumusa has solid board and governance leadership skills with strong business strategy development and implementation skills having worked in various roles which include the Director of Legal and External Affairs at BAT Southern Africa, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Transformation at SAB and Senior Manager at Accenture.

I look forward to working with the board, Noelene, and the executive team to drive forward PinkDrive’s strategy and ensuring that it continues to create significant value to the indigent men and women of South Africa,” said Bongumusa on his appointment.

He has been an excellent Chair and he has played a crucial role in the successful development of PinkDrive. Dr Hurribunce remains on the board and a director, responsible for all medical governance,” said Noelene Kotschan.
PinkDrive NPC, a non-profit company, powers South Africa’s mobile women’s health mammography and gynaecology units to bring gender related cancer screening and awareness to indigent communities in South Africa. PinkDrive works in collaboration with More Balls Than Most® (MBTM), dedicated to promoting awareness about the importance of early detection of prostate and testicular cancer.
